Scouts Visit Rainy Rathlin

Up bright and early to catch the ferry to Rathlin island to visit the seabird centre and upside down lighthouse. Hiked 4 miles to the west lighthouse spotting wildlife on the way and the rain soon made an appearance. Stop off for lunch and then into seabird centre to study some seabirds, including kittiwakes, razorbills and, of course puffins. Bit of face painting (you’re never too old) then back on track for the hike back to the harbour. 16 soggy scouts returned to Ballycastle for some chips from Mortons before heading home. There were a few tired legs  but they’ll sleep well tonight.
