This year, for a bit of a change, we decided to do our Christmas Camp in the Hall and practising using our tents. On Friday Night we started of with a quick Rhythm exercise with Volunteer Dave then the fun began – Craft in the form of Good turns Jars – 12 Christmas Good turns with goodies for mums and dads were lovingly crafted in a hand-painted jar. Penguin Feeding frenzies, Night walk and hike with Volunteer Roma and then back to the hall for snacks, games and a midnight movie…. Saturday started early with Camp style cereal and then off in the bus to Clip & Climb in Dundonald – Everyone did really well and had a go at everything, we met Olaf and Elsa from Frozen, had balloon animals made and then headed to Indianaland where some more steam was blown off. The golden Arches got a touch for dinner then back for Pass the pudding, More games and movies, cookies and brownies and it was bed for night two. The sunday came with pass the parcel, prizes, pin the carrott on the snowman. A great weekend.
Many Thanks to Shere Khan and Robyn for planning and prep work, Baloo for his input, and Volunteers Roma and Saffie.
